SPECIAL EDITIONS & GICLÉE PRINTING
SPECIAL EDITIONS
TJILI's Special Edition giclée prints are produced in a (predetermined) small and limited quantity.
Each edition is hand-numbered, embossed and personally signed by TJILI, and comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity which is also signed by TJILI.
The numbers on each giclée print are unique, denoting the individual piece number in the edition over the total limited edition size (e.g. 30 / 75). The choice of paper, printing technique, the size of the edition, the consistent quality of each print in the edition are just as critical as TJILI's choice of subject matter and style.
These fine-art giclée prints are of an exhibition-quality, produced in accordance with Fine Art Trade Guild standards by our award-winning partners (see below) using state-of-the-art professional giclée inkjet machines, and hand-picked Hahnemühle fine-art museum-grade archival paper to produce the highest possible quality of fine-art prints available anywhere worldwide.
Special Editions are limited and, once an edition is sold out, no further exhibition-quality fine-art prints will be produced.
Please note that the artist, TJILI, owns the copyright to her work and reserves the right to use digital images of her original artwork for other commercial purposes, such as gifts or merchandise. This may include, for example, greeting cards, calendars, posters, clothing, bags, home décor, kitchenware and toys / games (such as backgammon boards or Art-cubes, like Rubik's cubes). The quality of any such printing shall be far more basic and will not be (does not need to be) comparable to the museum-grade Special Edition giclée prints. Nor will such items be personally signed by TJILI. If anything, merchandise should boost public awareness and demand for TJILI's artwork, helping maintain and increase the value her restricted-circulation Special Editions over time.
TJILI's Special Editions, each being exclusive, uniquely hand-numbered and personally signed, are effectively "limited editions" given that TJILI clearly and professionally commits to not produce any highest-quality prints (i.e. giclée or similar exhibition-quality reproductions) more than the predetermined limited edition size clearly stated for each Special Edition.
